★ 4.9 · 317 reviews · free cancellation to 2 days
- Six dives, where the certification requires four — the last two are just for fun
- Three days: theory, pool, then diving from the boat
- A certification that lasts a lifetime and works worldwide
About this course
Three days from no experience to a certification that works anywhere in the world, for life.
The course is theory, then pool, then four training dives from the boat. The required number is four — you get six. The last two are not skills work: they are there so you can dive as a certified diver, with the instructor nearby, and enjoy it.
Days two and three are spent at real dive sites rather than a training pool, with a mix chosen to broaden what you see. For the first ten minutes of each of the first four dives the instructor runs through the skills you practised in the pool, and then the dive carries on as a dive.
Prerequisites
- Able to swim

Good to know
- You cannot fly within 24 hours of your last dive
- You will need to complete and sign the PADI medical statement before starting. If you answer yes to any question you will need a note from a doctor declaring you fit to dive — there are clinics close by that offer this.
- Try to complete the theory online before day one, using the e-learning link sent to you, so the first day can focus on pool skills.
- Non-divers and snorkellers are welcome to join you on the boat for the day at 2,500 THB.
- Full refund for cancellations received more than 48 hours before the course starts. After that we cannot refund, because the boat space, staff, transfers and catering are already committed.
